She writes a regular column for Woman Alive magazine, for which she won a national award as Best Specialist Columnist, beating columnists for the Mail on Sunday. She has published nine non-fiction books and had poems included in anthologies and general magazines, as well as winning the Barnet poetry competition and more recently both first and second prizes in the Cruse Lines competition. In 2019, she is about to have her first poem published in a dedicated poetry magazine (Magma). Veronica is of Austrian-Jewish ancestry and lives in North London with her husband, adult son and large fluffy cat.
