Closed for 2019. One of the highlights of the Roundhouse calendar, the Poetry Slam is back. The slam offers young poets from across the UK the chance to compete for the coveted Slam Champion title plus a prize of £600.
More info: There’s nothing quite like a Roundhouse Slam Final; the atmosphere of anticipation and encouragement against the backdrop of the legendary Roundhouse. Could you be one of our fifteen finalists this year? Judges and Hosts will be announced soon.
Please note, this year they are running first heats in Gloucester, Hull and London. Those who make it through the Hull and Gloucester heats will then be transferred to the remaining London heats. Please specify in your application which heat you are applying to – Applications for Hull heats will be available soon.
