Hi,
I want to get my daughter (aged 12 years) poem shared with as many people as possible. And also earn accolades in competition.
Look forward to getting guidance on same.
Regards
Deepa Sharma
Hi Deepa,
Thanks for your comment.
Your daughter is eligible for the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, one of the biggest competitions for young poets in the world. It’s free to enter, there’s no line limit or limit to number of poems, and prizes include publication, mentoring, poetry books and more: foyleyoungpoets.org It closes midnight BST 31 July 2018 – so hurry!
We would also love to receive poetry by your daughter in our free Young Poets Network challenges. Get inspired by the Timothy Corsellis Prize, responding to poets of the Second World War: bit.ly/corsellis18
To keep up to date on all we offer young poets, you can also join our free mailing list: ypn.poetrysociety.org.uk/sign-up-to-young-poets-network/
I hope this is helpful, and best of luck to your daughter with her writing!
Best wishes,
Helen at Young Poets Network
