Isle of Wight. Are you 16-25 and passionate about poetry, flash fiction, or blogging? Perhaps you’d like to perform your work at open mic nights or are secretly writing a novel? Whether you’ve got previous experience or are just starting out, this Creative Writers group offers a supportive and creative environment where you can receive feedback on your work.
The group meets every Saturday to write and share our creative writing, and even put together our own anthology. There will be the chance to learn about topics such as how to start your own blog, writing poetry, micro and flash fiction, performing your work, planning a novel, getting published, and pitching to magazines. Sessions are led by Amy Mackelden, a professional writer and blogger who has written for Heat magazine, and websites like Hello Giggles and Bustle.
