There is the opportunity for 12 emerging poets take part in developing the second series of poetry podcasts for Bedtime Stories for the End of the World.

Poets will work with some of UK’s top poets, including: Malika Booker, Andrew McMillan, Sabrina Mahfouz, Kei Miller, Helen Mort and Jack Underwood; and the project is supported by Spread the Word.

Called “beautifully nerdy” by BBC Radio 4, the series commissions poets to re-imagine traditional stories, myths and fairytales for these troubled times.

We’re looking for 12 emerging poets to join our project and to collaborate closely with one of our lead artists and produce a 5-7 minute poem. Participants will all receive a £300 fee for this commission and travel costs for writers outside London is available.
