[post_content] => My friends and I, we are waiting
for you to give in like the others before
as there will come a time where there is no more
of us who were crushed and burnt.

Soon you will get tired
and exhausted by the endless daily slog
that will only contribute to the fog
sinking in the back of your mind.

And there will be a monster
as there always is from the sky, or ice, or heat
or whatever you have created so you will meet
an end like they all did.

And once you’re gone, my friends and I
will raid your houses and your gardens and your drives
that were essential for you to live your lives
and where once was grey will again be green.
