Open, closing Friday 25 January 2019.

100 years ago peace came to Europe. Can you write a poem for the future you want to see? The RSL Poems for Peace competition is now open for entries from those aged 11 to 18 who are resident in the UK.

Win a signed copy of the Peace Poetry anthology and National Book Tokens for yourself and your school library. A number of poems entered will also be published on the RSL website.

You poem might tell us:

  • What peace feels like to you
  • What you want your future to look like
  • How poetry written in the past can help us imagine a better future

Visit the Royal Society of Literature’s website for further information including details of how to enter.

Closing date for entries: Friday 25 January 2019.

The RSL Poems for Peace project is in partnership with First Story and made possible through funding from Arts Council England.
