Peacock Poetry Prize

Reopening 2018. For residents of Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex, an annual competition produced by Brighton Festival and Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC) to encourage young writers to explore the written word from a creative point of view.

There are three categories of ages: Ages 11–13, 14–16 & 17–19

You can submit up to two entries, no more than 14 lines

This year’s theme is ‘Hard Work’, inspired by Guest Director David Shrigley’s book of the same title.
