Open, closing 2 September 2019. The Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition is an annual competition run by Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre that is open to anyone aged 18 and over from anywhere in the world. There are two categories: Open and English as an Additional Language, and the winners in each category receive £1000 with £200 for the runners-up.
This year our judge is the internationally-acclaimed author Jackie Kay. It costs £5 to submit one poem or £4 per poem for more than three entries and the deadline for poems is 2 September 2019.
