Modern Poetry in Translation seeks to recruit 2 new ‘shadow trustees’

Modern Poetry in Translation is seeking to recruit 2 new ‘shadow trustees’ to our Board. Founded in 1965 by Ted Hughes and Daniel Weissbort, Modern Poetry in Translation (MPT) publishes the best world poetry in the best translations. We are seeking 2 people aged 18-30 to join our organisation as shadow trustees – people who are able to shadow our existing Board and participate in the process of governing an arts organisation, offering their views and ideas, and gaining contacts, experience and skills, without having to take on the financial responsibility or legal liabilities of full trusteeship. For full details about this opportunity please email the Managing Editor, Sarah Hesketh on
