Deadline: 5pm, 3 May 2018. A scholarship for early-career writers who are interested in responding to nature in their work. Writers between the ages of 18-34 of all genres are welcome to apply. Three UK scholarship holders will meet three German scholarship holders in Munich in June 2018 for an introductory workshop, before attending the British Council’s Nature Writing Seminar, a three day event with some of the most established nature writers working today. Writers present: Helen Mort, Sarah Hall, Horatio Clare, Nancy Campbell, Helen MacDonald, chaired by Robert Macfarlane. They will produce a body of work under remote guidance and will be invited to present these in October 2018 with the British Council Germany in Bremen alongside their German counterparts.
